What matters more is timing the visit for when your child is rested and fed rather than tired or hungry. Tell us it is a first haircut when you arrive and we will slow down and let them get used to the chair and the clippers.
- What if my kid won't sit still?
- We have seen it and we do not rush. If a child is nervous we let them watch a parent get cut first, show them the clippers before turning them on, and work in short stretches with breaks. Parents are welcome to sit close or hold a younger child. Nobody gets pressured, and if we need to finish faster with clippers we will.
- Can you cut several kids in one visit?
- Yes, and it happens a lot with families driving in from Elgin, Lawton, and the smaller Comanche County towns. Call (580) 291-4303 ahead and we will line the chairs up back to back so the whole family gets through in one trip. Saturday mornings are the busiest window for this, so booking ahead is worth it.
